Finally Christmas

I can't believe I haven't posted about Christmas yet.

Well here goes.
Christmas this year was a new one for us because it was the first time we stayed home and did our own Christmas. It was really nice to start our own traditions but it was different to because there was just the 4 of us instead of oodles of family, which was a little sad.
We decided to make a Gingerbread house and the kids really enjoyed it. What great little cooks.

After that, we did the nativity. Addie was Mary and Kimball was Joseph. It was fun seeing them (well Addie) act it out. She was so caring to little baby Jesus.

Would you believe that we only took 1 picture Christmas day. We used the video camera and I can't put that on here. We had a wonderful Christmas morning and then went over to my parents later for Christmas dinner. There was a huge blizzard and we ended up staying the night which was really nice. What a wonderful Christmas

For New Years, we had our good friends Sarah and Rustin over. It was great. We just played games, watched a movie and had GREAT food. yummmy! It was fun to just talk and laugh and tell stories. As you can see, we thought we were fun but maybe the picture tells the truth. Well, that picture was taken at about 3am so I guess that is a good excuse for the closed eyes.
