post 200

I saw as I was getting ready to type this that it is my 200th post! (imagine fireworks here). For some reason it seems like it should be more...Well, this post probably won't be that exciting, especially when I start it out like that huh? Talk about a let down but really it's one of those "Here's some pictures for the grandparents" kinda posts. Sorry to all my peeps out there who check in daily for my whit and charm. Ha ha, I kid I kid.
Some signs of Spring. Today was a beautiful day so we decided to eat dinner outside by this tree. I love the colors of the trees around here. I have never seen so many blossoms. It seems like every tree back here has blossoms and I LOVE it!Here is our cute neighbor boy getting ready to fill up our cups with the hose. Just kidding, he wasn't I just happened to take a picture when he was playing with the hose. Avonlea discovered corn on the cob tonight....

I think she is a fan. Good thing we live in the Cornhuskers stateHere is Addie and her friend Savannah who joined us for dinner. It was just a wonderful wonderful day and we didn't want to come in. In comparison, as I was getting online to do this blog, I saw on the news about all the tornado's hitting the south so hard. I can't believe how bad it is. We have been so lucky here and I feel so much for those people. I'm counting my many blessings tonight. and these are some of my very greatest blessings. (Plus one tall hot hunk that surprisingly enough, I don't have a picture of in this post...don't you worry, his post will be coming soon ;-)I love Avonleas face in this oneKimball and Addie with their bunny puppets they made. can you tell Kimballs favorite color is Orange right now? Here comes Peter Cotton Tale hoppin down the bunny trail. So we went down to the Gardens so the kids could see the Easter Bunny and I thought to myself "Self, what is the point of visiting the Easter Bunny? He doesn't talk to you, he doesn't give you candy, you just quickly sit on his lap and give your camera to some stranger to take a blurry picture of you with your peeps " hmmm weird. We will probably go again next year

Getting ready to collect the goods. At the Easter Egg hunt this year, they wouldn't start until someone volunteered to do the Easter Egg hunt next year. Guess what? Now I'm storing a great big huge bin of Easter eggs until next year when I get to play the Easter bunny....speaking of Easter Bunny's, why do Bunny's hide eggs? Bunnies are mammals, they don't lay eggs...weird
OK onto more important things. Addie also had her dance recital last week and she did great.

Here she is all fancied up.

Here she is with her teacher Ms Hannah. She was so excited to perform but I think the thing that she was most excited for was to be able to wear make-up. I think it makes Ammon nervous whenever he sees her in make-up because she is BEEEEautiful and he starts thinking about the sticks he is going to have to carry around as she gets a little older. Oh the things we have to look forward to.
