Addie loved all the rides. She really loved Splash Mountain. Here is a self shot on one of the rides
On the day we went home we decided to go to the beach 20 minutes away. It was so wonderful to play in the water and the sand. We saw dolphins and a seal swimming (not dead this time). We collected shells and built a sand castle.
We finally decided that we better go since we had a long drive ahead of us. We put the address into the GPS unit and started following the directions it gave us. Up till this moment, the GPS was a life saver to us. We listened blindly without really looking where it was leading us. It was a while and we realized we were going in a direction that was opposite from where we wanted to be going. We then realized that it was taking us along the coast to SanDiego. We weren't able to turn around so just had to keep driving. Our 8 hour drive turned into 10 and 1/2. After speculating that somewhere there was a terorist taking over the GPS satalite systems of the world and directing everyone to San Diego for a mass murder, we decided to not play into their hands and turned on a road just 20 min. short of San Diego and escaped with our life. We sure showed them!
All in all, it was such a wonderful trip.

Your trip sounds great! Love the pictures. When you said you were going towards San Diego, I knew you were going the wrong way but I thought you were just doing more sightseeing! Just lengthening your vacation. I mean, what's more exciting than traveling a few hours out of your way with a 3 year old and a 1 year old? Fun! Love Mom
